Term Project: Making the Stdio Library Robust

Team Members: Krishnaprem Bhatia, Matt Bishop, Amit Patel

The UNIX Standard I/O Library is not particularly robust. Specifically, passing invalid pointers often causes crashes. Errors in calling functions may cause inconsistencies across platforms. The caller can use the file pointer to alter internal variables. The goal of this project is to reimplement that library to make it robust.
