1. (10 points) Find a news article or blog post that describes something about security that is incorrect. Submit the article or post (a URL or a DOI that enables us to read the article or post is sufficient) and explain why it is incorrect.
2. (30 points) A major organization required all requests for new software to go through the Procurement Department to ensure nothing that did not meet the security requirements was present on site. That department had to verify the software was needed, met the security requirements of the organization, and was properly installed. Typically, when someone needed software, the this process would take 5–6 months.
   1. Identify 2 security problems this process caused.
   2. How would you modify the process to minimize the problems?
