Abstract
PEGS is a prototype 2 dimensional editor for grid selection. This
version deals with the positioning of boundary and mesh points. The
user can:
- mark or erase mesh points
- distribute points over a connected set of lines
- slide points along a line, or across maIiy lines
- expand a portion of the figure for more visual precision
- save a set of mesh points
- load a set of mesh points
- erase the current figure and draw a new one without changing the points
- overlay a new figure without changing the points
- move or spin the figure
Currently, one cannot generate grids on the IRIS, but must send the set
of points to another computer. Once the grid has been obtained, the
resulting image (and points) can be loaded into PEGS and the points
edited.
