Computer Security: Art and Science
Addison-Wesley published this book on December 2, 2002. They have a very nice web page for the book . [It has error: Chapter 29 has the Summary, Research Issues, Further Reading, and Exercises sections (the Table of Contents web page says it doesn't). Chapters 30 on (appendices, really) do not have the Summary, Research issues, and Further Reading sections, and neither Chapter 35 (Example Academic Policy) nor Chapter 36 (Bibliography) have any exercises.]
|Here are Web pages for various web-based bookstores. I don't know who is selling the book for the lowest price, nor do I know which is best to shop at, so look around!|
As the book goes through successive printings, I'm keeping a list of errors in each printing. The errata for each printing is fixed in successive printings. Here are the lists:
If you want to report an error that's not listed there, please send email to me at user name bishop and host name cs.ucdavis.edu (this is not in the usual format because I've been getting too much email from spammers lately ...).
Errata for Reprints
Here are the errata for other, usually foreign, reprints. They point back to the errata pages above because these editions are created from the above version.

Here are some good reviews. I'm always interested in others!
"A horrible little boy came up to me and said, 'You know in your book The Martian Chronicles?' I said, 'Yes?' He said, 'You know where you talk about Deimos rising in the east?' I said, 'Yes?' He said, 'No.' So I hit him." attributed to Ray Bradbury
