My Family

Here we are! I’m married to Holly (née Olsen). Our children are Heidi, Steven, one who wishes to remain nameless, and Caroline. Heidi is married to Mike Hughett, and they have two children (our grandchildren), Skyler and Sage. We also have various pets in our family.

There are also pictures of Heidi’s wedding and our 20th anniversary party.

My father passed away in 2002. Here is a brief, virtual memorial to him, but he lives on in our memories and in the memories and lives of all whom he touched.

Here are some pictures of Holly. The one on the right is my favorite: grandma holding her granddaughter Sage!

Here are some pictures of Steven. The bunny in the left one was his pet, Thumper (who passed away a little while ago, and is much missed). Heidi is taking his picture in the middle one, and the person with him in the right picture is Mike.

My third child asked me not to post any pictures in which he was the focus.

Here are some pictures of Caroline. On the left is a picture of all our children. She’s sitting in front; Steven, Heidi, and our third child are behind her. In the middle left, Holly and Heidi are on either side of Caroline. A friend of Steven’s is in the background. On the middle right, Caroline is holding a newly-born Sage. She’s mugging for the camera on the right.

Here are some pictures of Sage. In the left picture, Mike is holding her while Skyler looks on; Sage is about 1 day old. In the next picture, Sage is about two months old. In the next picture, big brother Skyler is holding her. In the next picture, a day-old Sage is sleeping on my chest (but you can’t see me). In the last two pictures, Sage is trying the hula. (Did pretty well for a one-year-old, too!)

Here are some pictures of our pets. In the upper left picture, Holly has Scout (a Bearded Collie) dressed up for Halloween. Fur, our rescue cat, is a bit peeved to be caught napping in the dirty laundry in the upper middle picture. Puff, a Persian Himalayan, is pretending to be a 3-D jigsaw puzzle with one piece in the upper right picture. Daisy seems curious about the flash in the lower left picture, and Shadow is gawking at the camera (well, that’s how a rabbit gawks!) in the lower middle picture. Skyler is talking to our chickens in the lower right picture.

Our Twentieth Anniversary Party Pictures

Heidi threw us a party for our 20th anniversary. The theme was Hawaiian, probably due to my penchant for wearing Hawaiian shirts when I have to dress formally. Note the pictures of Sage looking at the hula dancers; she did a fairly good hula for a child 10 months old!
